just looking for a few exercises that i can do to help me add some distance to my golf shots.
Strengthening your forearms can help a ton. What you do is go to a cheap sports store and buy the cheapest street hockey stick you can find, hopefully no more than 5 bucks. Then get some thin rope from a Home Depot or Lowe’s, about 5 feet of it. Then you cut the stick down until it is about three feet long, of just straight stick, and attach the rope with a good knot to the middle of the stick, even better if you drill a hole in the middle of it and tie it threw there. Then you can find a free weight laying around the house, or just anything that weighs about 5 to 10 pounds and tie that to the other end of the string. Once you’ve done this now you have to work out with it! Hold the stick with your arms about shoulder length apart, straight out in front of you, with the weight dangling. Now turn your to roll the string up, and the weight with it, and once you get it to the top, unroll it and roll it back up, twisting in the opposite direction. THIS WILL build up your forearms quickly, and increase your swing speed. And it was cheap. And also do some crunches.
