I would say develop your core strength, which means work on strengthening your ab muscles, obliques, and mid section. Also, working your arms and shoulders will help increase the whipping action through the swing.

I have heard people say (pros too) that if you have smoother or slower swing, the ball will go farther. You know what? I don't buy that. I find when I try to kill it is when it goes the most explosive.
References :
As I have gotten older(45), I have found that core strength has increased my distance more than arm strength or leg strength.

Using a workout ball do 3 sets of 15 sit-ups, then put your belly on the ball and do 3 sets of back bends to strengthen your lower back.
Ensure that you do full moves to keep your muscles stretched out.
NO COMPRESSED MOVES!! as this will shorten your muscles over time. *Note* Look at how a Body Builders arms are always bent, even when they're just standing around.

Now for the fun stuff.

Using a weighted club device, I prefer a donut, make 15-20 swings continually by starting the club forward until your hands are hip high, then swing the club backwards to full extension, then forward to full extension. Back-Forward 1, back forward 2 ect...Only swing as hard as your balance will allow, easy at first working to full power. Goal is to reach 100 swings both forward and backwards without stopping and maintaining balance throughout it all.

Hope that this helps.
References :
I would recommend just working out on a regular basis. Make sure you balance lifting weights and cardio. For lifting you can do bench press for upper body and squats for your lower body with different variations like jump squats with increasingly added weight over time. There are a lot of different things and options you can do...

As for the swing make sure you turn your hips and cock your wrists.
References :
Get some lessons. If you have a more fluid swing you will get more distance. To take strokes off practice your putting and short game.
