		<description>Well don&#039;t stretch it you could make it worse. What if you pulled or tweaked something? If you stretched it what would happen to it? It&#039;d become more unstable until something snaps.

		<description>Painkillers can only mask the pain and have the added problem that you might overdo and stress out your back even more.

When you are in pain your body is trying to tell you essentially not to use this part of the body excessively so that it can heal...
But when you use painkillers that added safety caution is gone and you can hurt a muscle or tendon even more by overusing it when you should essentially back off and give it a break.
