I’m very flexible but for some reason my hips turn to much on the backswing. When I limit them my swing gets much shorter but my shoulder turn isnt a full 90 degrees. Pleas dont give me tips on how to limit my hip turn or anything like that. Ive played on a junior golf tour but was curious about some stretches.
do you have a masculine stomach?
maybe u find it hard to turn because your upper part is so stiff.
i mean, u can’t twist your waist a bit so your hips do all the work.
omg it’s so hard to explain it using words.
just don’t mind what i said. whatever. it’s up to you.
good luck.

Stretches does help shoulder turn, but also will prevent injury.

I had the same problem, Tony, except for the hip turn. My hips stay straight to the target line, but I had trouble turning my shoulders on the backswing.
What helped me was holding the head of a club in my right hand (I’m right handed) and pushing on the butt of the club with my left hand – forcing the right shoulder to go back, while keeping my hips straight. I hold for 3 or 4 seconds, then do 10 repetitions of the stretch. Hope it helps you, too.
Hit ‘em long, straight and often.

Without seeing exactly what you are doing it is difficult to help you with a correction.
But here are some pre-golf stretching exercises that should help.
